Kevin Breuninger is currently a student at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. In his undergraduate years, Kevin developed an interest in national politics and media. He spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Intern for a Connecticut Congressman, and canvassed for two Congressional and Senatorial political campaigns.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a History minor, Kevin moved to New York City to join Success Academy Charter Schools as a first grade Associate Teacher in The Bronx. At the end of his first school year at Success Academy, Kevin transitioned within the organization to become a Recruitment Outreach Coordinator, where he worked to meet demanding hiring goals while developing and maintaining data tracking systems for the entire Instructional Recruitment Team.
